When in doubt, sit it out

Something to think of.

As is true of American Society, we feel the need to run around like a chicken with our heads cut off.

We are stressed, confused and feeling a little abused.

So. The best thing you can do in times, when your body is telling you and your energy is not where you would like it, is to sit. It doesn’t mean you stop going to work or other activities altogether, but lessen the running around just a bit. When you can, take that time to breathe. Make that time if you have to. The more we run the less we listen. I mean, listening to our bodies, our families, etc What is most important. That is what you have to figure out. So, if you feel a little run down or like you just don’t want to do anything, then don’t. You may need a timeout. It is ok. Give yourself permission to let your mind wander. To be creative and journal your day. Or, whatever you feel drawn to.

Relax, the dishes and dust will be there tomorrow.
